More often than not when you go into this friendly pub there is the smell of freshly baked breads because the chefs bake a selection of olive breads and sourdoughs each day. As young ambitious chefs Brendan and Colin have earned a reputation in Bristol and have recently taken on the Cadbury as their new adventure. All the food is fresh, many of the vegetables grown and purchased from the local allotments, and all the food is cooked on the premises. Simple good food that can be enjoyed with good beers and wine. The pub has a great garden for outside dining and inside is cosy and warm with a country, rustic charm. Look out for the colourful murals painted outside on Richmond Street - and you have found the pub!

Further Details

It is unusual to find a venue in Bristol which has the all the charm of a community pub, serving locals with good beers and yet to discover 2 young chefs who are committed to bringing the very best of homemade British food at such reasonable prices.

The pub itself has a long history and is situated on a quiet residential street in the heart of the cosmopolitan area of Montpelier. Decorated with colourful murals outside, inside the wooden benches and seats are a reminder of what pubs used to look - yet the food is modern, British and all homemade.
