The Blue Bowl offers wonderful wholesome food at a very reasonable price using only fresh produce and local meat and with a menu to suit all tastes. Food is served all day and always includes Daily Specials made by their chef, Mark Riches, and on most days Trout straight form Chew Lake. All allergies and dietary requirements can be catered for.
They also stock a range of Lagers, Beers, Cider and Wines and have been presented a Cask Marque award for the consistent High Quality of the real ales. Bed and Breakfast is available throughout the year and you will always receive a warm welcome whether you’re fishing, golfing, or on business.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON THE BLUE BOWL The Blue Bowl is perfectly located for the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. A short taxi ride from Bristol International Airport so ideal for business users, as well as visitors to the area seeking glorious countryside and attractions such as Cheddar Gorge and its Show Caves. Within a rods cast of the world renowned Chew and Blagdon trout fishing lakes, which they are very popular with fly fisherman.
So come and visit them and get away from it all for a perfect weekend break, an extended holiday or just a day trip for Sunday lunch and a walk around Chew Valley Lake.

BED & BREAKFAST ACCOMMODATION
Bed and Breakfast is available throughout the year. Being a family run pub you will always receive a warm welcome whether you’re fishing, golfing, or on business; just perfect for that weekend break away from the hustle and bustle of today’s daily life. All rooms are en suite with tea and coffee making facilities, TV & DVD, toiletries, bath robes and hair dryers. Plus there are desks if working away and of course their famous monster breakfast.
One Room is within the main building and recently refurbished.
The other three rooms have been converted from the old milking parlour and creamery, all of which are on the ground floor. They have all been sympathetically designed to keep the characteristic original features, incorporating, the oak beams, floors and doors. All are furnished superbly and can be doubles, twins and family rooms. Each has its own stunning bathroom with walk in shower. One Room has level access and a disabled friendly shower room, which meets all government standards, but still maintains its own unique style.

LIVE MUSIC No Action Acoustic Duo The Duo play every last Friday of the month. No Action is comprised of two young guitarists who play a wide range of cover songs, from present day hits, dating back to the likes of the Everly Brothers.
