As well as the welcoming ambience, Juniper boasts exceptional food. The Juniper menu is broad and often changing; sourcing local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. Each dish is lovingly created, prepared and presented with meticulous attention to detail by the owner and head chef, Nick Kleiner. The end results are delicious, unpretentious and imaginative combinations.
The service is relaxed and friendly and the atmosphere is one of comfortable elegance and stylish sophistication.
As well as the main dining room there is an upstairs space perfect for large parties and private functions.
Juniper is open for dinner from Monday to Saturday and for lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Juniper is a well-established local restaurant in the Cotham area of Bristol, just a short walk from the centre. They have a lovely dining room with lots of cosy tables perfect for romantic meals out, or larger tables for groups. We also have a room upstairs suitable for large parties. Our decor is warm and relaxing with the signature Juniper purple throughout. We are happy to cater for those with allergies or other special diets.
Their food is best described as Modern British- classic dishes such as rump of local lamb or fillet of Angus beef, Somerset goats’ cheese and sticky toffee pudding sit side by side on the menu with dishes infused with European and Asian flavours such as seared king prawns marinated in a sesame, lime and sweet chilli sauce; crispy belly of pork served with coconut udon noodles and passion fruit crème brulée.
As well as exceptional food, they stock some outstanding wines. Their wine merchant, a local boutique supplier, has scoured some of the world’s best small producers to create a wine list that is both varied and harmonizing to their menu. They offer a Flight of Wine for just £15 per person which includes an aperitif (champagne cocktail, beer, G&T etc), a glass of wine to match your starter, a glass of wine to complement your main course and a glass of dessert wine or port at the end of your meal. This is an excellent way to try a selection of our delicious wines and to perfectly match your food choices.
