Enjoy either of the relaxed and informal bars, where locals catch up on all the latest gossip. The restaurant area has an open log burner and original parquet flooring. Enjoy Nigel's sumptuous and inventive speciality fish dishes like Sea Bass in Papillotte or traditional wholesome favourites like Toad in the Hole and Sirloin Steak, all made with fresh ingredients from local quality suppliers. Sunday's offer the best treat in the area, a choice of 4 different traditional roasts at only £7.99. A roast to die for say the regulars! Or just sit at the bar and enjoy a pint of their well kept Otter ale from Devon or a glass from their quality wine list.
So in her case it is definitely a case of a Bird in Hand is worth at least two in the bush!! And a visit!!
